Tell us what happened and we will chase it down. There is no ticket system to sign up for and no bot to get past — one email reaches the people who make the game.

linklandgame@gmail.comFormal notices
Legal notices, complaints and requests from authorities reach us at the same address — put “legal” in the subject line and it is routed accordingly.
Our registered developer name and contact details are published on the Linkland listing on the App Store and Google Play, and we send them in writing on request.
Before you write
Include these and we can usually answer on the first reply:
- Your player code — tap your name at the top of the home screen. The code is on that screen, with a button that copies it.
- Device and OS — for example “Samsung Galaxy M23, Android 14”.
- What happened, what you expected instead, and roughly when (with your time zone).
- A screenshot, if there was anything on screen worth seeing.
Never send us passwords or payment details. Linkland has no password and takes no payments, so nobody from the team will ever ask you for either. Treat any message that does as a scam.
Common questions
I changed phones and my progress is gone. Can you restore it?
Honestly: usually not. Your account lives on the identifier your old phone gave the game, so a new phone normally means a new account, and we would rather say that plainly than promise a rescue. Write to us anyway with your old player code, the old device and roughly when you last played — if we can match it we will try, but treat it as a favour rather than a guarantee.
The match dropped mid-turn. Did I lose?
No. The game is kept on our servers, not on your phone, so losing signal does not end it: open the app again and you come back to the same land. The only thing that can go against you is the clock — if your turn timer ran out while you were away, the game carries on under the normal rules.
Matchmaking cannot find an opponent.
Quick Match needs someone else searching at the same moment, and early on there are simply fewer people about. If nobody turns up, the search screen offers you a game against Link Bot, or you can invite a friend by their player code. If the search never finds anyone even at a busy time of day, send us your player code and when you tried.
Someone is harassing me.
If they are in your friends list, open them there and press Block: it takes effect immediately and the two of you are never matched or invited again. Report them from the same screen so a person reviews it. If they are not in your list, email us their nickname or player code and we will handle it by hand. The safety page explains what happens next.
How do I delete my account?
Use the account deletion page. It lists exactly what is deleted, what is kept and for how long, and it does not require you to have the game installed.
Is there anything to buy?
No. Linkland has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. Nothing in the game can be bought, and nothing you can buy affects a match.
How old do I need to be?
At least 13, or older where local law requires it — see section 2 of the Terms of Use.
I found a bug. Where do I send it?
To support, with the steps that led to it and a screenshot if you have one. Reproducible bug reports get fixed fastest, and we write back when the fix ships.
Devices and requirements
Linkland needs a working internet connection, because every game runs on our servers. The minimum Android and iOS versions are listed on the store page you install it from.
The app asks for two things and nothing else: internet access, and permission to vibrate, for the small taps you feel when you place a piece — and you can switch that off in Settings. It never asks for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.
